Thank you for calling. Unfortunately, I am unable to answer your call at this moment. Please, leave your name and a message and I shall reach out promptly.
As a favor? I suppose if you're certain of that, I can't complain. But I'll have to find a way to make it up to you, then, afterward.
As for the space, that is something I'm unsure of. My suite certainly isn't large enough for that. Maybe if it were just a party of three, but I have many people I would want to see there. Don't ask if they're friends. I don't know. But I would want to see them.
[So, yeah, friends.]
For the theme... perhaps something delving into my love of horror? Not too heavily, mere "Gothic" would suit the sensibilities of everyone best. And activities, Nine and I had discussed the possibility of going to an arcade, as horror is a genre of video games they tend to hold quite a bit of... however, he also brought up the idea of simply having a "game room" attached to the party for such a thing. I own no video games, personally. Not yet. But I'm certain we could think of something. At any rate, I certainly own plenty of films for such a theme. If we opt to go with the concept of a "game room".
The more I talk, the clearer it is that I've yet to do something like this, isn't it.
Gothic theme with a game room and movie viewing room. Perhaps you have not gone it before but you have ideas that fit into a theme well enough. Enough for me to work with.
We will arrange the venue, the entertainment, and the menu. At least an idea. Then we can send out invitations to those you wish to have as your guests. And finalize things once we have the number of RSVPs with room for walk ins and plus ones.
Would you like a gothic horror themed cake as well?
I would, yes! If that's alright. I have a feeling you'll be making it by hand, knowing you. And, this will perhaps be a strange request, but when it comes to the flavor of the cake... my I ask for ube? It's something I've never had the chance to taste before dying, but it's quickly soared to the spot of my favorite. My favorite anything. I'll even eat it roasted and plain.
[Honestly, you could literally bribe him with ube sweets, and he's guaranteed to say yes nearly every time.]
At the very least, the purple color will lend nicely to the theme, I feel. Perhaps a black icing with red and gold details? With the bright violet inside of it as almost something of a surprise.
Of course it is and I will make it myself. And yes. It can be ube flavored. Purple yams, if I remember correctly. And it would go quite well with the theme.
And I will remember your favoritism for ubes. For future use.
Not quite yams, I've learned. The taste is similar enough, I will happily accept yams if ube's in short supply, of course. But from what I've learned, they're actually a relative of things such as taro. Something else I've grown to enjoy, but not quite as much as ube; taro's a bit nuttier, while ube's flavor leans toward something more custard-like.
[Jokes on Lycaon, Louis's botanical knowledge mostly covers flowers - To him, "yam" and "sweet potato" are the same thing. And, y'know. Ubes aren't sweet potatoes. So they must not be yams either, right?
...
Right? (They are, in fact, yams.)]
Future surprises. Hmmm. In that case, I suppose, for no reason at all, I'll mention that I enjoy it most in ice cream and cake rolls. And that it makes a wonderful flavoring for a sweet congee when one's under the weather.

Will that go in your notes, as well?
